Hard Part: Conversation Coach
Practise firing, feedback and saying no. Then get a scorecard on how it went.
Some conversations keep you up the night before: telling someone their work has slipped, saying no to your boss, asking for the raise you should have asked for a year ago. The Hard Part lets you practise them first.
Pick a situation, read a thirty-second briefing, then talk it through with a character who pushes back the way a real person would. About five minutes a go. Then you get a scorecard, with two moments quoted back from your own words and one concrete thing to try next time.
Who it’s for: anyone with a hard conversation coming up (a firing, a piece of blunt feedback, a boss to say no to) who’d rather practise it first.
