Cadge: Virtual Pet Widget

Cadge is a virtual pet that lives on your home screen. Feed it straight from the widget without opening the app, and watch a Blob become a Sprout and then a Cadgling with a personality you accidentally trained.

Two widget sizes both carry a real Feed button: it runs the same daily allowance and the same result as feeding inside the app. Keep it up and five traits (chaos, clinginess, sass, sleepiness and curiosity) shift with how you actually play, until one of them sets in for good.

Who it’s for: anyone who wants a pet that lives on the home screen instead of buried in an app, and doesn’t mind that its personality is partly their own doing.

Three feeds a day, petting and the daily shiny are free forever: there’s no paywall on any care action. There’s no account and no sign-up; your pet stays on your device, and Cadge+ is only ever a costume and an XP boost, never a requirement to keep it happy.

What's inside

• Care is always free. Three feeds a day cost nothing, petting costs nothing, and no care action is ever behind a paywall.
• It notices when you don't. Leave it long enough and it goes out and leaves a note; come back and it comes back
• No account, and nothing to sign up for. Your pet lives on your device, and nothing about it is uploaded anywhere.
• Cadge+ is an optional subscription. It unlocks the rest of the wardrobe and doubles Bond XP, and it is never needed to keep your pet fed or happy.
